"got the tune, put it in thursday night and didnt really have an opportunity to beat on the car to see how it worked cuz i had to tow a trailer down to WV friday, but the ride down here the car was very smooth and responsive, more than it had ever been. once i got down here i took it for a ride and WOW it feels GREAT. shipped the tuner back friday, thanks for everything"

"Emailed Vince on a Wed night about some problems I was having with my Camaro. To my surprise I received a call from him the very next day. He helped me as much as he could, and even stayed in contact with me the entire weekend. My problems were too complicated to handle over the phone or email. I was shocked when he offered to drive 2 1/2 hours to my house to do my tune. I was stressing about getting it to a good shop. Vince arrived to my house with all his tuning equipment and got right to work. Upon his arrival my car couldn't find an idle, had bad surge under load, and some crazy A/F action. It didn't take him long to get the idle nailed down and the car driving great. We discovered I had a MAF issue that was playing havoc with my A/F. I'm the kind of person who wants to know why and how my car operates. Vince did a great job of explaining the changes he was doing and exactly what the numbers were telling us. If your looking at Vince for your tuning needs, don't hesitate. Great service and a hell of a nice guy! Looking forward to scheduling some dyno time in the near future. Thanks again Vince! Troy"

"Vince is AMAZING!!! We talked one day about trying to tune the 2.2l cobalts as they were not supported by ANY tuning software anywhere. HP tuners had been telling us that they would not work on this car for over 1 year and in about a week and a half of work, Vince had cracked it.

We worked with my car, a 2006 chevy cobalt ls with the 2.2l engine and some bolt ons (header, downpipe, exhaust, and cold air intake) and in a very small amount of time he had fully tuned the car to work with all of these. He has worked with many of my friends since then including on our other 2.2 cobalt (stock) in order to test the tranny tuning that no one could work either.

Vince can do amazing things with tuning and for your car...he is the only tuner around for chevy cobalts and many other cars use him because he is simply the best!!!

Thanks Vince, I know we will be working more in the future :)"

"Had some weird issues that pretty much would be for someone with full software for the bastard 98' PCM, called Vince and he was house sitting 4 blocks away. Told me to bring it on over. It took him 2 days, a drive to Salem to get another PCM, hit up a couple of pro shops, online researched a ton sending them to me as well to figure it out.

He really went all out trying to trouble shoot getting all but one whacky issue totally smoothed out.

We have a great tuner in our area now guys so drop him a call if you need a good tune. Vince will get it squared away regardless of what it takes"

"I Beta tested one for Vince and it was a great system. From when I got the box in the mail it was about 7 minutes before I was putting the tuner back in the box to put back in the mail, with a fresh tune on my car. He also went ahead and deleted the skip-shift, set my fan temp for my thermo, and deleted some emmisions stuff for later that I asked him to.

Very good customer service, he worked with me the whole way.

Like he said, if you already have LT1edit and tune yourself, it might not be the most compelling offering as of right now, but otherwise I'd advise that you try it out."

"Hey all, I've used it

I can say that Vince has a good thing going here. I've only had the Hypertech before, but I go a PCMFORLESS tune on my 96 without having to do any work! Basically I just plugged it in and installed the tune. The tune was great, as others will attest, and the method was as easy as scanning for codes! Vince took care of all shipping, if you can wrap a present you can ship the tuner. I've been very pleased, and couldn't ask for better customer service... however, I just wish I could drive it more right now.

Anyway, I wanted to give a shout out to vince, and a thank you. Hey, it's a good way to get a custom program without sending in your PCM or physically taking it to a tunner"

"I just got my PCM reprogrammed using Vince @ trifectaperformance.com and I must agree with qwk96ss; It is straight-forward and by far the easiest reprogramming option on the market for our cars. Programming took, at most, 5 minutes and the customer service was the greatest I've experienced thus far. Since Brian from PCMforless is still the one who provides Vince with the programming, this was the best option for me since I couldn't afford to put my IMP to rest for a few days.

On a side note....I reprogrammed my PCM on Friday before heading on a 530 miles journey to N.C....so as you imagined I had some fun out there on the open ride. Throttle response increased 100% at all acceleration points, and the firmer shifts were for remarkable. I took my brother for a ride (who has a 94 Roadmaster w/ Hypertech program, & flowmaster exhaust) and he swore that my tranny had a shift kit in it.

On the ride back home I got into it w/ an 07 Audi A8. I was running about 100mph when he pulled about 3 car behind me in the next lane. I accelerated to 110 and he was at my back bumper...so I floored it. I glanced at the speedo 3 times after that point and I saw 123, 147, 155. When I looked in my rear view mirror, I had at least 15-20 cars on him but I had to get out of it since I was fastly approaching some traffic (I'm confident I could've reached 160mph+.) I'm sure that guy in that A8 was shocked and amazed . Just wanted to share that w/ you all!!!

But anyway..if anyone is considering doing a reprogram, I 100% recommend Vince at Trifecta-Performance"

"I programmed my car thru Vince at Trifecta Performance. This is by far the easiest way to program your car. I would recommend his service to anyone not wanting to send in their PCM."

"Just thought i'd go ahead and post up my opinion and experience w/ Vince @ Trifecta Performance. If there is a more appropriate forum to move this to, please feel free to.

I placed an order for a custom tune on my 95 TA M6. The car at first had a blown rod so I built a motor and went a little off plans from what I originally said I was going to do. So I had no idea what I was up against as far as getting the car to run/act right. The motor was a Heads, Cam & Intake motor w/ nice LT headers to make her breath So a couple of days before the initial fire up I complete the form on Vince's website, give my billing info and off the custom tune went into the works. Vince kept in touch untill I got the tuner in my hands about 2 days later (I ordered 2nd day air)

I plugged the GT Tuner into my diagnostic port and turned the key on. The GT Tuner walked me through the steps, along w/ the sheet supplied w/ the tuner. It started to store my current factory tune and after 3-4 minutes it was putting in my custom tune for the car Well...after 3-4 more minutes the tuner had done its thing. Thats it..... just wait 6-8 minutes and you have a custom tune. Theres no taking out the two 10mm bolts and fighting the the PCM to get it out, shipping it off and hoping you get it back in one piece. Brian Herter @ PCMforless does the tuning so its not like its somebody you dont know or havn't heard of. And it also comes w/ a prepaid mailing sticker so all you have to do is put it in a UPS guys hands! All paid for everything is well thought through!

I'd highly recommend Trifecta Performance to anybody, i'm actually waiting for this months credit card bill comes in and goes by so I can think about ordering a tune for my 94 Camaro, she's running a little to rich and i'm always driving the car, so why wait for a PCM turn around Any other questions feel free to pm me"

"The GT Tuner worked great! I made some major modifications to my engine and just finished when I received my GT Tuner. I was surprised at how quickly I received the tuner and how easy it was to operate. After tuning, my Z28 started right up and sounded real "mean". I didn't have any issues with warning lights or anything. Thanks for a great product!"

"Come on guys, order up some programming, it's so simply it's stupid"

"So easy a caveman can do it."

"Well let me start this off with the transaction. I was in Afghanistan and I had just purchased a 2002 Z06 back in the states and I wanted to get a mail order tune as I was short on time with the car during an R&R leave. I emailed Vince over at Trifecta performance and he was glad to help meet my needs. He sent me an easy form to fill out with what mods I had and what other things I wanted done in the tune. After couple of emails we had everything straight on what I needed. And here is the list.

Tune for Longtubes, ! cats, and Vararam intake and stock injectors. (important later)160 deg thermostat, ! skip delete, ! rear O2 and a few other things.

So he agreed to have the no hassle module at my door when I got home for leave and guess what. IT was there!!!

So I throw the tune in after doing a few other things (seafoam,Techron, oil change, fuel filter change, plug change) and it started to run extremely rich and I was like crap as I was under a time crunch. I called Vince thinking it was the tune and he had me send the “stock” tune back to him. I sent the tune back to him via email with the tuning module that was included (No extra scanning software needed!). He looked over it for about 20 minutes on Sunday night (to boot) and called me back. Come to find out the car had 42lb injectors! He gladly right there on the spot sent out a new tune via email and helped me out over and above in my time of need. I threw the tune in and then I had a misfire as well after a test drive.

When I initially got home the day before all of this other stuff occurred I had found a front O2 wire unplugged which I plugged back up while I was pulling maintenance. This was because the dealer had unplugged the driver’s side O2 and had left it hanging as the car would not run on both O2’s in closed loop (burnt lead on the driver’s side).

So I called him back explained the situation and he kindly helped me troubleshoot a little over the phone. Come to find out with Vince’s help again Bank 1 was extremely rich as the Dealership tech who had installed the clutch for the previous owner a few weeks back had switched the O2’s around. So after a few phone calls to Vince and the previous owner all problems were solved and the car runs great now with all mods but this took 3 days to finally nail down everything and get the car to run correctly.

I just want to give Vince his dues. He took time out to help me and get me what I needed and spent extra time to help satisfy the customer for once. Don’t find people who will do this. Oh and after all the extra help he credited 20.00 back to my account for getting the tuner back in the mail after 3 days which really it was 4 but that is just the kind of guy he is. Would definitely do business again and he is a stand up guy.

Thanks again Vince I won't forget it."
