This release post is a presentation of the software engineering capabilities of TRIFECTA Performance: TRIFECTA presents a complete powertrain power delivery profile recalibration for the MY2015+ Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon 2.5L I4 LCV engine and corresponding 6L50 automatic transmission reprogramming. The TRIFECTA Performance Chevrolet Colorado 2.5L I4 LCV and GMC Canyon 2.5L I4 LCV MY2015+ powertrain calibration is an easy to install software performance recalibration with an EZ Flash cable device that will yield gains of up to +25 ft-lbs @ 3250 RPM and +16 WHP @ 3400 RPM (Peak vs peak gains of up to +13 ft-lbs and +9 WHP) to a completely stock Chevrolet Colorado 2.5 I4 (LCV) MY2015.
 
Specifications of the TRIFECTA Performance Chevrolet Colorado MY2015+ 2.5 I4 (LCV) and GMC Canyon MY2015+ 2.5 I4 (LCV) ECM software reprogramming:
Gains of up to +25 ft-lbs @ 3250 RPM and +16 WHP @ 3400 RPM under the curve (and +13 ft-lbs and +9 WHP peak vs peak on 91 octane) Powertrain calibration has been tested and validated for various environments, such as cold/heat, elevation, and variations in fuel quality Power feels linear and immediately responsive (improved drivability and throttle attentiveness) Retains all GM OE diagnostics and ECM functionality Retains all OE error code reporting and functionality Emissions readiness checks are present; emissions compliant Maintains functionality of ABS and TC systems Knock detection mechanisms and OE engine knock detection sensitivity is retained With the current generation of TRIFECTA's flash loader solutions, the TRIFECTA Transparency featureset is available when flashing your vehicle. Any aftermarket hardware designed to work on a stock vehicle may work without issue, but there is no official support for it with this calibration.

If your vehicle is stock, or has certain modifications which "just work" and do not require tuning, you can simply plug and play with our TRIFECTA Advantage calibration. Advantage customers receive full customer support for as long as they own their vehicle. Custom tuning is not offered at this tier, and the price reflects it. It is a great entry level option if you want to get the most potential out of your vehicle with just one mod!

  • 17 Digit Vehicle Identification Number.

    Must be exactly 17 digits, 9th digit must be 0--9 or 'X', and cannot contain characters 'I', 'O', or 'Q'.

    -Most brand name intakes (ONLY with any included resonator/venturi designed to prevent the intake from setting any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

Absolutely night and day difference in my 2.5L Canyon. Shifting is so much better in town, letting it stay in lower gears and making more torque to get where you need to go, and get around other cars easier.  You can absolutely  feel it and now my truck can actually put me back in my seat. Truck is now surprisingly quick and can punch well above it's weight class in the lower gears. Highway driving also improved, shifting much faster into high gears and holding it instead of constantly ping-ponging to a low gear like the factory tune would. Such a great experience with this that I will be coming back for my other vehicles!

This tune is worth it just for the transmission tuning. Shifting is greatly improved and the truck no longer holds lower gears while highway cruising. The higher low end torque makes city driving smoother, and highway on ramps are much more manageable. Buy this before any cold air intake or exhaust. You will see real results.

If I could leave more than 5 stars for this product I would. This turned my sluggish six-speed four cylinder into a completely different truck. General acceleration pulls you forward in your seat on 87 octane gasoline. To say that there is a noticeable power difference is an understatement. I highly recommend this tune if you are a Canyon/Colorado owner. Likely the best performance upgrade you can do for this truck that's under $300.
