I bought this tune for my 2020 Chevrolet Impala Premier as the 6 speed felt sloppy and unrefined from the factory. I had a friend recommend the trifecta tune as he bought the tune for his Buick LaCrosse. He said that it was a night and day difference shifting and performance wise. Once he told me that, I was sold! I bought the tune for my Impala and it is amazing! The vehicle is more responsive in the low and mid range, shifts are smooth and crisp when you need them to be, and the car really feels like it is opened up now. 

Power: I run 93 octane in my Impala and when paired with this tune, you'll be roasting your tires every time you go to take off! The tune provided my Impala with much more low end response off the line, and completely changed the mid range power.

When driving in the city, the Impala feels as if its ready to take on any street race that may come your way, but still maintains a good balance when you're driving in stop and go traffic and not getting up to speed at every stop. 

I live in the country with a lot of 55 MPH zones and roads with more deer and cow crossing signs than people. This tune makes it very hard for me to control myself to not open it up every chance I get! With the added response and smooth acceleration, you'll find yourself having more "smiles per gallon" rather than efficiency! 

Highway Driving: Highway driving is very refined and smooth as the tune contains a feature to turn the tune on and off! I've explained more of that below. 

Cruise Control Feature: I find myself using this feature VERY often. I do a lot of highway driving for my everyday commute (50-75 miles per day). With the activation of cruise control, the tune goes back to "stock" functioning,  but shifts are still much more responsive, less sloppy, and seems tuned for efficiency. My gas mileage has improve about 2MPG on the highway. I only saw as high as 28 MPG on the highway with my Impala whereas now I see 30 MPG easily (and could probably see 31 or 32 when warmer temps come to NY). 

Customer Service Support: Michael has gone above and beyond to assist me with not only my tune, but my vehicle as well! My Impala seemed to have some extra transmission concerns that I assumed were software related, but turned out to be a physical issue with my transmission. I asked Michael dozens of questions about the issues I was having and responded quickly and provided me with information that many other businesses wouldn't share with their customer to get them to spend more money. Michael has great customer service skills and really helped me through the issues I was having with my transmission, and even offered to tweak my tune if I requested to help alleviate the issue (long story short, it turns out my transmission fluid was contaminated).

 

Overall, you will not regret buying this tune. It completely changes your Impala and is a night and day difference. It still maintains stock functionality with the exception of improved throttle and shift response, in turn allowing you to get a few more MPG when you're cruising down the highway. A great tune from a great company who cares about their customers!

What a huge difference on my car, day/night difference on performance, a little bit of gas and the car takes off (if have wing will fly). Tested two option CC ON-OFF, 

CC ON the car feels like a rocket, especially on 3rd gear is pulling hard and the shifting is very crisp.

CC OFF car feels boring now 😆(stock tune)

Love my 16 Impala 2LTZ, now my car feels alive and the 3.6L VVT engine loves high RPMs, already 99k miles and feels like a V8 sporty but in a full size sedan. Thank you Trifecta for the tune!

This possibly the best Tune you can get for the chevy impala. Thanks Guys for the product. it put smile on my face when i hit the throttle, The vehicle is responsive and picks up acceleration at low speed with no Lag and it feels alive.

Worth every penny!  Installed this tune on my 2020 Impala Premier late yesterday and hit the interstate.  Real seat of the pants gain in horsepower!  Car feels like a rocket even when gently pressing the gas and I couldn’t be more happy with it.  If you’re on the fence about Trifecta Performance tunes, don’t be!

Excellent tune for Chevy Impala 3.6L. The car wasn’t designed to be a performance sedan but with this tune it makes the car feel very sporty. You will feel the difference in the low end from a stop to go, more torque too. Acceleration is increased and it runs very smooth. It will definitely keep up with the other V6 sport/muscle cars on the road

I've had a Trifecta Tune previously on my 2011 Camaro so I know they are very good.  When I bought my 2018 Impala Premier I knew I had to have another tune, and I turned to the group that I trust, Trifecta.  Ordering was very easy, and the support people were excellent to deal with.

Installation was easy enough.  I did make sure that my laptop was plugged in to AC just to make sure there were no issues.

Before the tune the 6 speed was sedate, but afterward it was wicked.  I purchased this tune in late July of 2021, and I'm reviewing it now after driving with it for a few months.  It is awesome to have on.  Around town is where it really shines with its faster shifting.  The gas pedal is very responsive when need be, so being able to have greater throttle control is great when zipping around slow moving cars.  It is amazing how responsive my car now feels with the tune installed.  As others have said turning on the Cruise Control will put the tune in "Normal" mode, but it will still shift better than stock.

When in reverse the gas pedal feels normal so you don't have to worry about going too fast.

I highly recommend this tune if you want to wake up your Impala to what it should have been able to do from the factory.

Bought this tune for 2020 Impala and boy did it wake up the beast! Gas mileage has improved and the tune makes my car perform better than I thought it would...highly recommend if you want to smile every time you put your foot on the gas pedal.

I have a 2018 Impala Premiere and one of the things I like about the tune is you can turn it on and off with a push of a button(cruise control).  You don't have to load a separate tune for stock and performance.  When doing so you can see, feel, and gauge the difference.  Acceleration is strong and shift points are higher for a more aggressive driving profile.  ~~~Refined and Robust~~~

Only wish I installed it sooner. I have a 2014  Impala with the V6. I have a home made cold air intake installed after my factory air tube tore. It really didn't do to much except maybe wide open throttle . But it does sound nice. But after I installed the tune what a different car. It almost completely removed any throttle lag. The car just picks up and goes. I love it. The only problem . It's my wife's car so I very rarely drive it. But now I can't wait . Great product.

Looked at and researched this product way too many times before purchasing.  Should have done this years ago.  2015 Impala LT w/ over 111K miles on it.  Gave me a new appreciation for my vehicle, like the other reviews: increased responsiveness, smoother acceleration, higher shift points, etc. Car should have came like this from the factory.  Extremely happy with the performance!  Keep doing what you do Trifecta!
