  • 17 Digit Vehicle Identification Number.

    Must be exactly 17 digits, 9th digit must be 0--9 or 'X', and cannot contain characters 'I', 'O', or 'Q'.

I can't begin to say how happy I am to my decision on going with the Trifecta tune to my V6 Camaro. This is coming from someone who had 2012 Camaro SS as a daily driver and I traded it in for a 2017 Camaro V6 to save on gas since I had to fill up every 3 days. My car is not a v8 but I can feel the power is there like as if my car has drunk a Monster Energy drink and it all of a sudden woke up to be ready to ride with a stock Camaro SS and hang with it.

I thought that using a throttle controller helped to wake up the car. I have noticed a drastic improvement across the board since flashing my car with the calibration that has been set for me.

Throttle response is very responsive

My RPMs go much higher

The shift points have been set higher and hold longer

My exhaust tone has changed a little bit which I believe is because of the rev limiter and the shifting points being changed.

My car no longer goes into V4 mode if I have it in Sports mode.

No decrease in gas mileage in exchange for power is a no brainer

 

Overall the experience with Trifecta has been great. They are very responsive to emails and they have answered plenty of my questions. I was on the fence with getting this tune since my car is still under warranty but I set it to be transparent and if I ever have to take my car to the dealer for anything, I will just put it back to stock and keep my fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any dyno results since there is not a dyno near me but I will say the difference is very obvious and I can guarantee you that it is not a placebo effect on knowing that you just did something to your car. I believe the dyno results that Trifecta has posted for the Camaros is a little off considering the gear ratios are not the best for these cars. I feel like my car has gained about 30 HP versus 15 - 20 HP. 

My only mods are a full catback exhaust system by Magnaflow with Flowmaster Super 10 mufflers. When punching on the gas my car launches which reminds me of my old SS that I had.

I will continue to deal with Trifecta if I add any additional mods until I go Forced Air Induction in the future. They are very good people and it seems like they know these GM cars like the back of their hands.

First short introduction about me. My name's Markus, 51 years young, from Germany and I bought a Camaro 6th Gen V6 (2017) RS ATM, US Version, in November 2020.

I am quite inexperienced with tuning and because the Camaro V6 reacts very slowly in some areas, I wanted to have an optimization here.
Before I came to Trifecta, I looked at some other tuning packages from suppliers in Germany. But hardly anyone else seems to have such an easy-to-use and comprehensive package in the field of software optimization. Programming the TCM without replace it with an unlocked version is almost a unique selling point. And btw, Trifecta's many years of experience with handling GM vehicles also brings trust.

Ordered Advantage package in mid of December 2020 with shipping of the cable to Germany, that arrives me about 4 weeks later. All presales questions were answered very shortly.
One day after I submitted some detail informations of my ECM I got the tuning file. Programming it tooks at all less than 15 minutes. Very easy and no complications.

The first test drive was very unusual at first. The automatic transmission in particular reacted quite hectically and aggressively at first. Here I had to develop a new feeling for the throttle response and shifting. But after about 3 days I got the hang of it. It's not that I have the feeling of more power, but the driving experience is much sportier and more aggressive. 

The tour mode is now much more agile and the sport mode really raises the alarm. This is much more fun to drive and the car is finally getting more sports car character. 

Good job Trifecta.

I want to start by saying there are not enough reviews out here for this tune! After flashing my 17 Camaro v6 it pulls so much harder and it just wants to go! I’ve raced a diablo tuned 2015 Camaro SS and actually beat him we even did a highway roll and we where dead even! I’m so impressed I’m purchasing another tune for 14 Malibu turbo great job trifecta thumbs up!

Trifecta offers a great product and great service!  I got the Advantage tune for my 2016 V6 M6 Camaro, and right away the car felt a lot more responsive and drivable.  Installation was pretty easy, although I had one 'hiccup' that I had to work through with the support guys.  But they were very helpful and know their stuff, and got me running again quickly.  They even did some extra work to try to get rid of an annoying stumble or hiccup the engine has always made when I use the clutch in the lower gears, and it's not perfect but still an improvement over stock.  It's probably just a limitation of this car being the first new-model year.  But overall the car is a lot more lively and fun to drive.  I highly recommend the company and this tune!

I was introduced to Trifecta from a good friend a few years ago. They have done amazing things with his car so I had to tune my 2019 camaro thru them. I got to say I should have done this sooner. The crew at Trifecta are outstanding. From the time I ordered to all the way to install they where about communication and making sure they handled even the small details. This tune makes it like a whole new car again. So much fun to drive. Thanks again for the great experience and product.

I've been looking for a tune for quite some time and when I mean the trifecta tune was well worth it. I mean my car is sounding like a dam v8 and performance on the road makes the car more aggressive. I am also getting the pops and bangs of a v8 Camaro that I thought my car could never do.
