Having pioneered tuning for the Cruze when it was released in 2011, and having owned and modified multiple Cruzes, we along with our customers have enjoyed, cumulatively, potentially millions of miles with our calibration in various different environments across the world.
Beyond just writing software, we also maintain and modify our own development vehicles:

These cars are used to develop our finished products via a combination of long-term street and dyno tuning, and are also used to ensure we can support any of the many available aftermarket parts for the Cruze. From intake and exhaust components, injectors, intercoolers, and aftermarket turbos, we test it all and validate our calibrations before they reach our customers vehicles. This method ensures the quality and reliability of our products, and allows us to offer competitive pricing no matter the complexity of a build.  We are dedicated to offering the highest level of service and support to all of our customers, before and especially long after the sale.
With our TRIFECTA Performance calibration, your Cruze will respond much more quickly to accelerator input, and automatic transmission shift patterns are optimized for maximum performance and responsiveness. During "everyday" driving maneuvers, the vehicle feels very much like it did from the factory, but rolling into the pedal quickly reveals a vehicle that wants to GO. Attentive, but without being "twitchy", power delivery is linear and transmission shifts are purposeful.
Key features of our product are:
Driver Selectable Vehicle Modes (“DSVM”):
TRIFECTA exclusively offers the ability to change between an “ECO” and a “Sport” driving mode, on the fly, via the arming state of the Cruise Control system.
Sport mode offers aggressive pedal response, more progressive downshifts, extended shift points, and maximizes power output. ECO mode offers economy-centric pedal response and shift points, and commands stock power levels when the Cruise Control system is Armed (but not necessarily engaged). Customers can optionally request a calibration that is ONLY Sport mode, or ONLY ECO mode to suit their needs.
No-Lift-Shift (Manual Transmission):
For vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, No-Lift-Shift allows the driver to quickly execute a shift without lifting their foot off the accelerator pedal.  This allows the turbocharger to continue making boost, thus maintaining power through the shift.
Automatic Transmission Recalibration:
In ECO mode, our transmission calibration provides smoother shifting and improved shift times while maintaining shift points optimized for fuel economy.
In Sport mode, upshifts are more purposeful, and precisely timed progressive downshifts enable a more sporty feel while remaining closer to the correct gear for more of the time for quick transitions to sporty driving.
Power and Performance:
Our calibration offers a reliable gain in power of up to +51 ft-lbs and +44 whp peak power on a totally stock Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T (LUJ/LUV).

Telemetry-proven gains in acceleration
Using professional grade industry-standard telemetry equipment, TRIFECTA has also established proven gains of up to 2.25 seconds in 0-60MPH acceleration times versus the factory calibration through power gains, throttle ramp rates, and shift schedule optimization.

Quarter mile times improve by 1.41 seconds and 7mph vs stock, illustrating the cars broader powerband and ability to maintain that power up to highway speeds from a stop.

Other Software Enhancements:
Enhanced octane adaptation constructs (including additional knock zones) which allow for more precise control over how the ECM responds to changes in octane bias - a bad tank of gas or adverse resonance from aftermarket components will be more readily identified. Added airflow-based constructs to account for adverse environmental conditions, especially when alternative fuels are used or an aftermarket turbocharger is installed.  This results in less reactive and more proactive changes in boost control. Thorough calibration of the ECM’s Virtual Torque Model - The torque model determines how much torque the ECM thinks the engine is making, and must be as correct as possible. TRIFECTA ECP.MK2 (Hybrid Speed Density) support and constructs added to enable support of modifications such as vent-to-atmosphere valves by mitigating transient fueling changes especially between shifts. TRIFECTA Advantage:
If your car is stock, or has certain modifications which "just work" and do not require tuning, you can simply plug and play with our "canned" tune. Advantage customers receive full customer support for as long as they own their vehicle. Custom tuning is not offered at this tier, and the price reflects it. It is a great entry level option if you want to get the most potential out of your vehicle with just one mod!
 
Additional information:
This powertrain calibration includes a TRIFECTA powertrain calibration file specific to your vehicle and includes an EZ Flash Cable, which requires a Windows Laptop. Premium fuel is recommended for maximum power output, but not required. Advertised gains are quoted as 'up to' and may be less for a vehicle operated at altitudes higher than near sea level. Really woke my cruze up! Zero turbo lag, no hesitant or rough shifting, idle is smoother. Did more for the car than I expected! It's not a vette, but this with this tune and minor mods this little 1.4 can hold its own against new v6 civics, maximas, camrys, etc. Best thing a cruze owner could do for their car. Great Value! Highly recommend!

I installed the Chevy Cruze LImited 1.4L turbo advantage tuner on my wife's 2014 Chevy Cruze 1LT, a couple of months ago. I was so impressed with the improvements on my wifes car that I bought a tuner for my sons 2014 Chevy Cruze Eco as well. Both my wife and my son can't believe how much better their car drives. My son had driven his moms car between the up grades and the difference for him was night and day. Much better acceleration. Much better shifting. 2015 Cruze LTZ/RS 1.4l:

I ordered the tune after reading the reviews on this site. Had shopped around a little and found this upgrade to be the biggest bang for the buck. I am always hesitant doing business with a company for the first time. Trifecta delivered on their product and customer service. Top notch professional service and a tune that will amaze you. Everything I have read pointed me to this tune and I was still taken back at how much power I gained. I have an automatic transmission and breaking the tires loose takes not much throttle. It's made my car alot more fun stoplight to stoplight. I would recommend this to every cruze owner.

After having it for about 5,000 miles, I am overall very happy I bought this tune. The most noticeable difference is how fast the automatic transmission shifts. Often times under hard acceleration you can hear the tires "chirp" when shifting, and it feels as if no boost is being lost between shifts. When driven gently the transmission shifts smoothly as if it were stock, which is nice. In the "touring mode" it holds the rpm's a bit higher, and makes the throttle a bit more sensitive. The extra boost is mostly noticeable in 3rd gear or higher. Overall it just makes the car more fun to drive around town. I ran a series of 0-60 tests using an OBD adapter and the Torque app for Android. Keep in mind I live nearly a mile above sea level. Times were almost a full second faster than stock, however they could be better. You only get the super fast shifting when the car is in automatic mode, if you want to select your own gears, it still shifts as it did when it was on the stock tune. Also when in automatic mode it still shifts at around 6,500 rpm's under wide open throttle, even though it feels to lose its pull at around 6,000. My fastest 0-60 times were in manual mode, shifting at about 6,000 rather than 6,500. Using manual mode gave me nearly .4 seconds faster of a 0-60 time. That being said, I still really enjoy driving the car with the tune. It obviously isn't meant to be a race car, but it is really enjoyable to drive, especially when compared to how it drove when it was stock. I have a 2014 1lt automatic with 8,xxx miles.

The tune is like night and day! It really makes the car fun to drive in performance mode and eco mode is very pleasant on the wallet. The trans calibration is 10 times better than stock. You guys hit the nail on the head with this tune!

Hello, my name is Erick and I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze RS LTZ 1.4l Turbo.  I build cars for a living and I want to keep my Cruze completely stock but I was looking for a little more throttle response and a little more power.  I contacted Trifecta to ask some questions about the tune including, can the Dealer see it? Does it leave foot marks so the Dealer knows it has been tuned?  Does it help with gas mileage?  I do not want to lose my warranty.  Steve at Trifecta reinsured me that I would not have those issues and that I would be really happy with this tune.  So I ordered the Advantage+ tune.  Wow was I surprised!  They have super-fast shipping, super easy download and even easier upload into the Cruze.  Out on my first drive after installing the tune and I already noticed a HUGE difference in power and throttle response.  It shifts so much better and firmer also I do not have that "No boost" felling anymore when the AC is on high and the best part of it all is that I am up 5 MPG over my average.  I have now put about 2000 miles on this tune and I could never be happier, passing on the freeway is easier and safer, Cruze is faster, and my MPG is up.  Thank you so much Steve at Trifecta for all of your help and service.

Installed Tune a Week ago on wifes Cruze. Wow what a improvement it made. Makes the car a lot more responsive and fun to drive. Will reply later with updates on mileage but so far so good.

In sport mode, you will feel the difference and have so much fun!

In eco mode, I did a 50 mile drive both ways on the same highway and I did gain around 4mpg

Easy to work with tune, almost anybody can do this, great software!

They provided a great website to navigate and use and get all your downloads needed!

Very Impressed with the new performance!

The engine is much more responsive than stock, particularly in 5th or 6th gears. When in stock mode, and 5th or 6th (manual trans) you had to be aware of your speed and of the terrain, or you had NO power. Now the little engine pulls willingly above 2000rpm.

Second gear is FUN, and will take you past 55mph in a hurry. Third gear pulls almost as well as 2nd, above 3000rpm.

Excellent throttle response, excellent acceleration in all gears, at all rpm, and at all throttle positions.

The Trifecta tune for the 1.4L Cruze was well thought out and well executed.

Thank you for turning my little econobox into a FUN machine to drive!
