2011--2015 Chevrolet Cruze / 2016 Cruze Limited - 1.4L Turbo - Advantage

I'm so glad I bought this tune, no problems installing is, you really feel the diference, you don't have to beg the tran to upshift when in the highway. The only thing is on midrange situations from 2nd to 3rd, where you don't want it to shift at 2k rpm but don't need it to go up to 4k rpm it kind of floats aaaaand then it shifts, kind of annoying; now I don't know if that is the nature of the slugshomatic or what. I'll say is quite useful on the highway and when you need to rush away but in traffic, I switch it to normal as I feel the shifting points are more adequate.

I have been using Trifecta since 2011 and the team has never let me down! The guy's at Trifecta have tuned two Cruze's and one Chevy SS and all my cars have performed as described!

Can't fault their work, and customer service is fantastic! If you are thinking of buying a second hand 1.4 lt turbo Cruze, do this calibration mod! You will not regret spending the money!!

Trifecta is the best thing that I have added to my 2013 Chevrolet Cruze. Completely different car now and very happy with the performance gains. Shift points are perfect and I noticed a great improvement in fuel economy as well. Highly recommend this tune, even before trying any bolt on engine parts. The tune is a game changer. Trifecta did what Chevy should have. Made the Cruze fun to drive! Great work guys!

If GM had put this tune in the car from the beginning, they would have sold a ton of these. This is my wife's car and I drive it occasionally. But I couldn't stand the disconnected feel between the accelerator pedal and the engine. Put the tune in and this is now a fun car to drive. 

The difference this upgrade makes is night and day. If you're planning on safe city/highway driving, this throttle tune is worth it for the extra throttle response for safe passing and merging. You'll gain a lot more initial torque from a complete stop to the point you'll induce wheel spin (which is impressive on a tiny motor such as this!). If you want a cost effective means of gaining quicker acceleration without having to spend money on expensive parts, this is a good alternative.

My only concern is long term usage after applying the tune upgrade. I'm uncertain of the extra load the turbo, transmission & engine incur since these parts weren't specifically optimized for throttle tunes such as this. I'd keep this in mind. Don't give too much gas (as there will be no need to once the Trifecta tune is applied) to the pedal. Remember that the car you're tuning wasn't built with this type of upgrade in the minds of its creators. Nevertheless, you won't be disappointed.

I have been more than happy with the advantage performance upgrade that Trifecta has provided for my 1.4 turbo Chevy Cruze. The support team has been more than helpful and very prompt with service. I would definitely recommend Trifecta to others looking for a little more out of their Chevy Cruze.

So, I was nervous about purchasing this mod. I've not installed anything like this before. So, it was a bit of a leap of faith.

And, when I decided to take the plunge, I found the install more challenging than the instructions suggested; but I think this was linked to some of the security settings on my laptop, along with having to sit in my car for around 40 minutes in the Houston heat and humidity, while I fumbled through the process (oh yeah, it made me do it twice - which Trifecta does state is a possibility).

Anyway.....after all that, I have to say that the mod has worked very, very well.

I'm not sure about improved fuel economy because to be honest, I drive the car more 'energetically'. But, that was part of the reason for buying the mod. Living in Houston, where everyone drives huge v8s and the traffic is crazy, I wanted to give the Cruze some extra boost to stay out of trouble.

And that is what this mod is about, for me. The power boost has been fantastic, the gear changes are so much smoother and the turbo is spooling almost all the time, ready to give you the extra you need in an almost naturally aspirated way. I would totally recommend this mod.

Im Very Happy with my tune as well as your customer support. All of my questions have been answered quickly and any issues resolved. The tune was installed just after the 60,000 km mark,My car just rolled over 200,000Km and everything still seems good. I've tested the millage with the tune on and off through summer and winter and the fuel mileage while running the tune has always been comparable to the factory setting. I will not hesitate to buy another tune for my next vehicle.

I couldn't be happier. Quicker, faster throttle response, and I even am getting better fuel mileage....If I can keep my foot out of it....but why would I do that?

I am very please with the tune. The performance increase and driveability on this little 1.4L is very noticeable. I look forward to getting a hot tune for my 2015 2.0 turbo Regal soon!

I am pleased with the extra throttle response and more powerful acceleration of my Cruze with the Trifecta tune that I purchased over a year ago. Shipping was fast, instructions and videos were easy to understand, my self installation went smoothly. Cruze is pretty slow stock. This program woke the car up. Had it over a year now and it's been in to the dealer for a water pump replacement. They had no idea it was installed. Very very happy with the performance gains, worth every penny.

Felt like a completely different car after the tune. Awesome throttle response much better overall performance.

I have to give this tune a lot of credit! For any 1.4L Chevy cruze owner out their, this is a must have for your vehicle. The extra power that this tune can get out of this size engine is just simply amazing. Being a first time customer to this company, I have to say that the product was exactly as described and also that they have great customer service as well as support for answering any questions. So glad I was referred to them, and I will be recommending Trifecta to anyone looking to get some more power out of their vehicle. Couldn't be any happier with how my car performs with it!!

Cable arrived here in Canada no problems. I installed the tune as per the instruction and now my car has a lot more power. It almost feels like there is a different engine under the hood. I am accidentally going 20km over the limit because I was so used to the stock tune. Nevertheless, the tune is probably the best thing you could do to your cruze.

Tune is great.

Wow is right. After a few key cycles I had to hold on when mashing it to prevent the wheels from pulling the car sideways from all that torque in first. Shifting omg the shifting improvement. Third gear pulls really great now. Got a cold air intake which makes the turbo sound great on this car and even better now that it's not afraid to reach into the higher RPMs. Will probably upgrade as this is just the stock tune. Oh and if you can get the LTZ RS model Cruze. Seems used they are pretty cheap for what you get - all the bells and whistles (that now I couldn't do without) plus upgraded suspension, seems like brakes but can't remember, upgraded audio... everyone that's seen it is impressed. Guarantee with this tune it's competing with the luxury cars out there in performance and handling.

Took 4 days for the tune to arrive and about 20 minutes to flash everything but WOW it makes a huge impact on the Cruze. I used to have to stomp in the gas to merge onto the highway but nope, not anymore! If you have a Cruze this is what you need I'm in love with it. THANK YOU TRIFECTA

Loving the tune so far, you can immediately feel the improved throttle response as well as the improved shifts in the trans. I havent been able to do too much testing on the tune just yet, but so far what I have experienced I have really enjoyed.

In my opinion chevy should have just ran this tune from the factory floor. Toggling between stock to tour just really makes you realize how great the tune really is. It just makes the cruze come alive. I would rather sell the car then drive with out the trifecta tune enabled. Great tune. Great customer service.

35K miles later and the car still puts a smile on my face at every single ride. Had three upgrades and car went from stock to impressive, then to splendid and then to extraordinary. Thank you Team Trifecta!

I received my Ez cable today, and re-calibrated my car with the tune, and all I can say is WOW, the team at Trifecta definitely made the Cruze come to life and produce the way it should have from the Factory. If you are even thinking about buying this tune, stop thinking and follow your instinct and buy the tune! You will not regret it, the shifts are so much smoother, and I do not see the hesitation that constantly annoyed me, when trying to get on the free way or just get the car to go. As it states in the description, the car now wants to GO!!!
