2018 Equinox "sleeper". I want to thank Trifecta for the tune. The Equinox now has the feel on acceleration similar to the other cars I've owned. (SRT8, Scarab, Z28, 66 Mustang K code, 66 Fairlane GT, Solstice GXP) No one expects much speed from an Equinox, especially since the majority have the 2.4L - 6 speed ( my 2014 was this version ) The new 2.0L with the 9 speed + Trifecta tune is the answer for the Equinox.

I received the 2.0T Equinox tune today.  I had just finished installing it in my wife's car when she came into the garage.  I took her for a test drive.   OH MY WORD.  The tires (Front Wheel Drive) were chirping in 1st gear.   We both looked at each other in shock.  At the next stop sign, I punched it again and sure enough, the tires spun all of first gear.   Major difference.  I had driven the Equinox the other day, and it wasn't even close to chirping.

This is my 4th vehicle tuned by Trifecta.  All previous tunes have been stick.  This is my first automatic.   All thumb's up again.

This is an all stock 2018 Equinox 2.0L FWD with Trifecta Advantage tune. The tune was easy to install. My impressions: Silky smooth daily driving. Good shift points and smooth throttle response. Auto stop/start disabled with cruise control off works as advertised (so happy). As others have said, this tune unlocks some serious power. Put your foot into the pedal and you won't be disappointed. This baby will get up and go. I was quite surprised actually at how good this tune is and have to give the good folks at Trifecta a big Bravo Zulu!!! I'm very happy with my Equinox and how it performs.

I'm a 1st time Trifecta customer, but was so confident in the reviews of their products that I ordered the tune even before taking delivery of my wife's 2019 Equinox AWD Premier.  I fully expected the vehicle to be quick once it was flashed, but this little grocery-getter is now quite the rocket ship!  Even in AWD mode, it barks the tires on dry pavement and the transmission tune shifts very decisively without being harsh or overly firm.  Other than the calibration from Trifecta, the only other additions to the Equinox are a PTP turbo blanket and reflective wrap on the intake pipe coming out of the intercooler.  I have owned a number of tuned GM vehicles and have ZERO regrets finally having one tuned by Trifecta.  I'm sure to be a returning customer, as my teenager is now jealous that his Cadillac ATS 2.0t no longer keeps up with his mother's soccer-mom SUV!

Tune was in place before I had the license plates. Very good boost. I risked it while new/under warranty, in part because I like the feature of turning it off with cruise control. We only use when we really want to. (Which is all the time when my wife lets me drive.)

If we put in 2wd there’s now a lot of torque steer and tire spin even at 4500 feet elevation. In AWD just a whole lot of SURPRISE! for other drivers on the on ramps. Very fun. Wife comes home almost every day bragging about how fast her car is in one way or another.

Also: VERY easy to use your service and load the file, and great service and replies to my questions before purchase. Honestly, this may keep me looking at GM products for any future purchases when I might normally have been looking at other manufacturers vehicles I’m more familiar with for working on and using a competitors tuning software—your service and product are just that much better.

All i can say is Wowwwww!!!  This tune with the AWD 9 speed trans is sick.  It will still break loose in AWD mode on dry pavement.  When i put it in FWD mode it will spin the tires for days.  I have pulled away on cars that the NOX has no business running against.  I have had 4 cars Tuned by Trifecta and will not have any other company do my tunes.

Another home run by Trifecta! They've now tuned 3 of my vehicles and I don't know if I'll ever use another tuner for a daily driver, whether it was my 3.6 LFX SRX or my 600+ rwhp ATS-V or now my 2.0T LTG Equinox, they always hit it out of the park! As others have said, this big SUV can break the tires loose in AWD or FWD mode, what a riot!

Trifecta tune for the win! I installed it on my 2018 equinox 2.0 fwd and it was everything and more than what i expected! When I drop my foot to the pedal the wheels are still slipping at around 40mph. I added a diverter valve from GFB dv+ and they work so well together. My friends are surprised of how much it pulls, no regrets whatsoever.

Well i am impressed, my 2018 2.0t equinox was definitely no slouch before the trifecta tune but now it is even better. The engine holds boost better, lags less and shifts when it is supposed to now. Works well in either mode for standard daily driving but really rips in trifecta mode(and no dumb auto stop) it puts you back in your seat without much fear of issues in the long run.

i have a 2019 redline 2.0 equinox turbo and purchased the trifecta tune im curently modded before the tune. After the tune what a world of difference. feels like a rocket. spins tires in front and in awd. well worth the money. she screams at quarter throttle look out. I highly recomend the tune if u own a 2.0 Equinox. What a screamer now. makes my apexi n1 shake cars beside me. Trifecta Thank u.

Just the thing to turn this daily driver into a fun ride. The touch of a button releases the monster in it now! And you can turn off the annoying auto stop. More torque than my stock 07 Solstice GXP had. Mileage has improved slightly, would be better but it's hard to not get on it.

Very easy to load the program.

Rick Marr

I just finished downloading my performance up-grade. I am totally blown away!!!

The power difference from the stock 270 hp to the now approximately 320 is immense.

I did this mainly for the ability to tow my boat without struggling to get up some big very long hills.

I can't imagine how well it will do now.

Plus the advantage of increased fuel mileage. I'm running on 87 octane but t

Chevy recommends high test 91 octane. At the cost of fuel now I'll stick to the regular...

Thank you so very much Trifecta. I will proudly use the Trifecta decals and the license plate holder!!!

Just added this to my 2018 Equinox 2.0T AWD
Power is there, very abundantly. This car was no slouch from the factory. Now becoming quite the sleeper and really pissing off Teslas (literally nothing makes them more angry than fast ICE, lol).

Shift patterns are definitely more race-oriented than stock especially on the downshifts when coasting.

There's a more meaty growl under heavy throttle, that is new, it surprised me.

AWD launch test was pretty bonkers. I had upgraded the stock tires to something more performance-oriented. It put down all the new power with a little whoosh. Really just exploded off the line.

I'm going to add a GFB DV+ for even smoother power delivery. Then I think my tuning is done on this vehicle.

Wow is all i can say about this tune on my car it has completely transformed my car into what it should be . I was a little hesitant at first but after talking to the guys at trifecta i felt very safe buying from them and boy did they deliver . i has a small problem in the beginning getting my car connected and they were there right away to help and once they figured it out for me had it fixed and my tune ready remarkably fast . Great purchase and well worth it

Dear Trifecta team,

Yesterday I successfully installed the calibration.
Even with AWD activates tires are squeaking when the pedal on the floor. With the K&N cold air intake and tuning on a 105 octane gasoline I guess my Equinox is delivering now a little over 300bhp at the engine. Thankfully and as expected the start/stop is deactivated.
Attached the results of dynamometer run.
And please let me know in case Trifecta develops any hardware or software upgrade.

Best regards

Eduardo
