There's been a lot of talk out there lately about the new T87A transmission control module (TCM) used in the 8 speed automatic transmission-equipped vehicles for 2017. Rigorous security protocols are requiring TCMs to be shipped somewhere and “unlocked” before they can be tuned. Defying the limitations others are subject to, we're also pleased to announce that we are able to offer transmission flashing without having to remove the module from the vehicle and “unlock” it!

The 2015-2016 Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon has quickly become one of GM's best-selling vehicles in recent times and has garnered the coveted Motor Trend Truck of the Year award for both 2015 and 2016. However, the truck has also attracted some fairly serious complaints about its drivability, particularly in the area of the transmission shift strategy (6 speed automatic), to the extent that GM has issued several factory software updates to improve it.
