Manage articlesWith our recent unveiling of FPCM (fuel pump control module) / CCM (chassis control module) recalibration to support larger injectors on the 1.4T, another idea struck us. Could we also recalibrate the FPCM/CCM to allow the addition of dual mode exhaust valves to the Gen1 Chevrolet Cruze / Chevrolet Sonic? Maybe, actually.
Introduction
Now you can run the Siemens-Deka 60 lb/hr injectors on your Gen 1 Cruze / Gamma II with ZERO side effects!
Getting enough fuel into a tuned-up 1.4T Gen 1 Cruze or Gamma II has been a challenge about as long as people have been modifying them. The factory fuel injectors top out at about 26 lb/hr of flow, which is enough for a tune-only, on gasoline, but if you want to switch to E85, or a larger turbo, you're definitely going to need larger fuel injectors.
TRIFECTA is pleased to announce we have tested and validated the above referenced K&N Cold Air Intake with the TRIFECTA performance calibration for the 2016+ Chevrolet Malibu with the 2.0T (RPO:LTG) engine. As such, we are issuing a Hardware Support Notification (“HSN”) for it.
When people think Chevrolet Equinox, performance calibration / tuning may not be the first thing that comes to mind. It's TRIFECTA's mission to look for power potential and the ability to bring a sportier experience to any vehicle, no matter what it is. As such, TRIFECTA is one of the only companies to have offered Chevrolet Equinox tuning in the past.
When we heard the details on the all-new Chevrolet Equinox, we got excited. TRIFECTA has been tuning the 2.0T LTG engine longer than any other tuning outfit, so naturally, when we heard the Equinox was to receive this engine, we put together a plan to build a product for it!When TRIFECTA decided to enter the Cadillac ATS-V market, we knew that also meant we'd bring the same product engineering standards our calibration has, to supporting hardware made by the aftermarket as well. TRIFECTA will be communicating the progress of these efforts through hardware support notices. We're pleased to provide our first aftermarket hardware support notice, for the K&N Intake system (63-3093)!
